Do you accept Purchase Orders (P0s) or can dealers set up Net-30 accounts?

No. We do not offer 30-day credit terms or POs. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. PayPal also offers payment terms.  We do not process orders by phone.  All orders both wholesale and retail must be processed online.

What is your return policy?

Items in new condition can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of receipt. Customer pays return shipping.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada?

Yes. Free basic ground shipping on orders exceeding $500 does not apply outside the continental US.

Do you prepare bids or quotes?

All of our products and pricing are available on line. If you wish to put a quote together for yourself, you may do this by placing the items in the shopping cart.

Do you offer quantity discounts?

Yes, we offer quantity discounts to Dealers.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Typically we are able to ship orders of in stock products within two days. From there you can expect to receive your order in 2-6 business days.

What is your warranty policy?

TecScan products are thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any TecScan product within 30 days of purchase, return it and TecScan will provide, at TecScan's option, a replacement or refund. Each TecScan product is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of 1-YEAR from the date of original purchase.  Should any trouble develop during the one-year period, return the COMPLETE product, freight prepaid, to TecScan 5147 SW 88th Terrace Gainesville FL 32608.

If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, TecScan will repair (or at our option, replace) without charge. 

This warranty does not apply where:

Repairs have been made or attempted by others

Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear

The product has been abused, misused or improperly maintained

Alterations have been made to the product

IN NO EVENT SHALL TECSCAN BE LIABLE FOR (A) ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER, OR (B) ANY AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO TECSCAN FOR THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER FOR ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES BOTH DURING AND AFTER THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY.

TECSCAN DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF "MERCHANTABILITY" AND "FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE," AFTER THE ONE-YEAR TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Can I get catalogs and brochures of your products?

We do not have catalogs or brochures. You may view all of our products online and print information as needed.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office is open from 9am to 6pm EST Monday through Friday. We encourage email contacts (sales@tescan.com). Our phone, (1-352-264-7877), and email are open 24/7, please leave a message and someone will get back to you quickly.

Can I get a free sample?

We do not offer free samples. We will refund the purchase price within 30 days for retail customers. 

Do you charge tax?

We do not charge tax for dealers or retail purchasers outside of Florida. If you are within Florida, we will waive tax, but only with a Tax Exempt Certificate on file. All dealer applicants must provide a copy of their Tax Exempt Certificate/business license as evidence of being a qualifying business.

Do LiTESeasy products need of a voltage reducer?

No and Yes.  Warranty is void unless controller connected as follows:

  • Connected to two 6-volt batteries in series (EZGO).
  • Connected to one 12-volt battery (electric cart).
  • Connected to a 12-volt output voltage reducer (48-V CLUB CAR DS, 48-V PRECEDENT and 48-V YAMAHA).
  • Connected using the fuse included.

LiTESeasy products only work at 12-volts.  LiTESeasy lights draw less than 4 watts which should not affect the life of a well maintained battery. So, with a 36-volt cart you have a choice of using two 6-volt batteries to draw 12-volt power or reduce your combined 36-volts with a voltage reducer. Both with 36-volt and 48-volt carts there is an added benefit of drawing power from all batteries equally and reducing (not eliminating) the chances of one battery wearing out before the others. Those with six 8-volt, 48-volt carts MUST use a voltage reducer.

Does the LiTESeasy wireless system work with factory style and OEM lights?

Yes. Always check for 12-volts, with volt meter at the source. No warranty for destroyed over powered lights or controllers. Existing fender mounted tail lights will not work with the controller as is. They only have 2 circuits and 3 per light are required: One for taillight, one for turn-signal and one for brake light. The solution is to add a bulb to purchase our factory fender light adapter. Important, all lights and accessories must be grounded through the controller ONLY not the cart’s frame otherwise, the controller operation may be erratic. Lights and accessories combined cannot exceed 120-watts.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Not at retail pricing.  Some dealer priced items require a minimum purchase.

Can I use a LiTESeasy Controller with a gas powered cart?

Generally the answer is yes. Please call us for special instructions and advice before purchasing.  The LiTESeasy Controller always draws 13.3 milliamps (13.3/1,000th of an AMP) when connected to a battery. It must be on standby to receive commands from the remote control. Over time it is possible this 13.3ma could discharge a single 12-volt battery. The controller can easily be disconnected by removing the fuse when the cart will not be in use for long periods.

Can buyers mix and match item purchases?

Yes, any combination of LiTESeasy products can be purchased at one time. Different numbered items cannot be combined to make a quantity discount price differential.

Are distributorships available?

No, we do not plan to offer distributorships. We believe we can offer the best prices, quality, and service from a single source. Our dealers should be confident they are always working with those people directly responsible for the product.

What do you charge for shipping?

For retail customers shipping is free inside the continental US. For Dealers we charge $9.99 flat rate for orders up to $499 shipped to commercial addresses inside the continental US. Shipping is free on orders of $500 or more inside the continental US. Standard rates apply for shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. Applies to both wholesale and retail purchases.
